Teacher Training
A great teacher changes the future every day. Especially for children who’ve had a tough start in life, a teacher can be the critical factor in their success. That’s why every teacher should have access to high quality professional development from the very outset of their career.
Following our accreditation by the Department for Education, we are pleased to announce the expansion of our offer to include our Initial Teacher Training (ITT). We’re looking for partners to work with us to deliver our ITT programme, with our first cohort beginning in September 2024.
To start the conversation about partnering with us on our exciting new programme, fill in our web form and our team will be in touch to arrange a meeting and answer any questions you might have.
We want to recruit new teachers into the school system, including those from under-represented groups, and provide them with the best possible induction into the profession. Our work will support schools and trusts to develop strong teams who continue to thrive and develop, with coaches, mentors and leaders who can help their colleagues to keep getting better.
In the last year, Ambition Institute and our delivery partners have been delivering professional development to more than 23,000 teachers and school leaders across the Early Career Framework and National Professional Qualifications, reaching more than 2.5 million children.
Why partner with us?
- High-quality curriculum design drawing on the latest evidence and the insights of great teachers and school leaders – including yours.
- Access to a large, national network supporting you to build on your strengths to shape, improve and grow your provision, and develop your pipeline of teachers, trainees and teacher educators.
- Continuity across the Golden Thread with shared design and infrastructure across ITT, ECF, NPQs and our own specialist programmes. Our cohesive year on year curriculum considers workload and complexity of learning over time while minimising unnecessary repetition.
- Expert support in areas from recruitment and attraction, to assessment and selection, to technology and data monitoring. Our team will support yours with logistics, so you can focus on the things you care about – developing your teachers.
Following the success of our recent Ofsted visit, we are confident in our ability to sustain our high standards and quality of delivery, and continue to cultivate positive relationships with new and existing delivery partners.
