Our education experts have created a programme that builds on the latest evidence-informed practices, ensuring you can effectively support your staff in mastering adaptive teaching strategies.

Overview
Adaptive Teaching: Train the trainer will support you to develop your classroom teachers’ expertise so that they can adapt their teaching to a diverse range of pupil needs and ultimately improve learning for all.
Over 18 weeks you will develop and refine your expertise in the domain of adaptive teaching drawing on the latest research. You will learn how to deliver effective professional development to your teachers on adaptive teaching.
This programme aligns with the golden thread of Initial Teacher Training, the Early Career Framework and National Professional Qualifications. This helps teachers and leaders benefit from a shared language to talk about and improve pedagogy and practice.

Adaptive Teaching: Train the trainer will build your adaptive teaching expertise and how to:
- Deploy a more effective, evidence-informed professional development offer in the domain of adaptive teaching.
- Design adaptive teaching professional development resources specific to your context.
- Evaluate the impact of implementing adaptive teaching professional development in your school.
How you’ll learn
This programme is delivered online over 18 weeks where you will engage in:
A full-day conference on adaptive teaching and how to design training for educators.
Three sense-making twilight sessions to help you plan, facilitate and evaluate adaptive teaching professional development training in your setting.
A webinar that looks in detail at what effective adaptive teaching practice looks like in the classroom.
You'll also get six hours’ worth of support resources to inform the design of your adaptive teaching CPD alongside two hours' worth of train-the-trainer resources on effective practice.

How much does this programme cost?
The programme costs £750 +VAT per person.

Eligibility
Who should apply?
- Apply if you are a middle or senior leader who has a remit to improve teaching or to support classroom teachers to meet the needs of all pupils in the classroom.
- Examples of participant roles include school director of teaching, teaching and learning lead, head of department, assistant headteacher.
