Leading by Learning provides a theory and practice of instructional leadership that enables them to make significant progress on the problems of practice that prevent them or their colleagues from achieving improvement goals.

Curriculum

This course will teach you how to build a collaborative culture across your school or trust, to effectively tackle problems directly relating to your context.

What you’ll learn:

  • Problem-solving skills directly related to your school or trust context.
  • Insights into personal motivations and drivers and the impact of these on those you lead.
  • How to have learning-focused conversations.
  • Increase your knowledge of the theory and practice that underpins the programme.
  • Building your leadership capacity to focus more effectively on school improvement.

How you’ll learn:

  • 2 full-day conferences in January 2023.
  • 12 months of access to an online learning platform, and self-study materials, including short courses, readings, videos and exemplars.
  • Virtual twilights later in the programme (exact number and details tbc).
  • Access to exclusive webinars hosted by Professor Viviane Robinson and her team.

Cost

New to schools across England, this leadership programme is available to school or trust leaders for the subsidised price of £1,500 per person.
